The internal combustion water pump is a new kind of pump which integrates piston type internal combustion engine and plunger type pump and can transform heat energy produced by fuel into fluid pressure energy. The main part of the three-cylinder internal combustion water pump dynamic prototype is established with software SolidWorks and ADAMS.The dynamic parameters of the three-cylinder internal combustion water pump in selected work condition are obtained through dynamic simulation, the smoothness of operation and dynamic features in different work conditions are studied, theoretical instantaneous flow and pulsating feature are analyzed and calculated according to simulation results.The cylinder head bolts of the three-cylinder internal combustion water pump are under dynamic load and fatigue failure is easy to happen. In order to ensure its safety in given time and load, reliability study in probability analysis is did. The reliability mathematic model of the cylinder head bolts is established considering the influence of overturning moment in different time, combined with dynamic simulation results, the fiduciary level is calculated out and the result is 0.9948 which satisfys design requirement.
