Shock absorber is one of the key parts to maintain the smooth-going and traveling comfort of vehicles. The issue of noise has becoming one of the foremost problems to be solved in the shock absorber industry for the multi-factors being involved and their difficulty to resolve.The principle and its main external characteristics, general methods, processes and status quo at home and abroad are analyzed, and its external characteristics including indicator diagram etc. and its influence by structural design parameters are investigated. Then the research is focused on the oriented sealing systems. The Design Of Experiment (DOE) principle is applied on analyzing the main factors of affecting the friction and handle, then the regression equation of the friction and handle is established. This paper is to enhance the design of shock absorbers and improve their quality. |
