For a long time, single soldier operational training always depends on the complicated live firing, which is a primary measure for military training examination. Nevertheless, the charge of this measure is expensive, also it is difficult for the units to organize the training and provide the training support. It is hard to change the state in the condition of combating exercise with live ammunition. Moreover, it is difficult for the commander to make tactical decision under the condition of situation on battlefield.Virtual human is a significant of virtual environment. It plays a very important role in enhancing the realisty of scene and immersion characteristic. This thesis puts forward a kind of simulation system for training using the virtual human to replace committed human, and stresses on object modeling of virtual human, motion modeling, behavior, path planning and so on. In the end, the design and implementation of behavior and path planning is achieved.Meanwhile, this thesis introduces the software of DI-Guy for human simulation and software of Vega for visual simulation, brings an application method of Virtual Human movement control fitted for the system based on the software of Vega and DI-Guy. From the viewpoint of military training ,expatiates how to realize virtual human to cruise in the scene is ,represents a specific thinking and method of how to control the operations of Virtual Human, how to divided the operations and gives the whole programs frame. The application of the method shows that it has good visual effect and can meet the requirement. The action of virtual human is flexible and natural. The interface between human and machine is strengthened. It can basically meet the needs of single soldier operational training.
