Currently, as for aerial work platform, technology exchange and products display mainly rely on practicality, advertising, as well as a small amount of 3D cartoons. Due to confines of the equipment size as well as ground, and some other restriction, it hard to know aerial work platform's performance and mechanical characteristics just from appearance of products. According to the author's query about the relevant literature, the existing three-dimensional presentation software usually are limited to simple model display, so at present it is still rare to find software that in deed can dynamically demonstrate of aerial work platform, and at the same time display work conditions of aerial work platform. Therefore, the disquisition of the virtual motion system of aerial work platform is of great significance.Regard to above problems, this article, based on a series of GTBZ aerial work platform, mainly makes use of Visual C++ and OpenGL, focuses on Component Object Modal Technology, Object-oriented Modeling Method, as well as motion simulation technology of aerial work platform, through which the 3D modal of aerial work platform, simulation of basic conditions and characteristics of real-time display of parameters are realized. In addition, through human-computer interaction, the appropriate technical parameters, such as stability and reaction of tires, can be achieved by calculation. In this article, there are several key topic as follows.COM (Component Object Modal) is one of key techniques in the study of virtual motion systems. This article is about how to design the low-lever of simulation interface with the Matlab, and to realize circle transformations with Matlab in order to display the techno-parameters in different cases respectively.The method of geometrical modeling object-oriented is another key technique in the virtual motion systems. The geometrical methods based on the OpenGL, the basic geometric body of aerial work platform and the principle of three-dimensional modeling in the virtual systems are studied in this article.The motion simulation in this paper combines the technologies of graphics transformation and the motion features of aerial work platform. Establishment method of virtual motion system of aerial work platform is presented and the motion simulation of aerial work platform is realized.Finally, the virtual motion modeling of aerial work platform, which is based on the technology of OpenGL, is developed in the environment of Visual C++.Net, integrating the key technologies mentioned above. The design and the analysis of the model prove the feasibility of the above technologies.
