Station Scheduling Model Based On Petri Nets

Train operation dispatching is one of the core works in the railway transport daily works,involves many departments and professional technology domains,train operation dispatch job at station is an important part. For the train operation dispatching at station, it is studied by using Petri net theory, it's model is established and the feasibility of the adjusting plan is analyzed in this paper. The research works includes:(1) Studying the theories about the Petri net and the train operation dispatch at station It is pointed out that the train operation dispatching is a typical discrete event system, Petri net being an effective tool for discrete event systems modeling and performance analyzing is suitable to study the problem of train operation scheduling.(2) Modeling the train operation dispatching at station. Through integrating colored Petri net and timed Petri net, the formal description of the timed colored Petri net is given and the hierarchical model of the train operation dispatch at station is built.(3) The simulation analysis. The CPN TOOLS is used to simulate the model and to verify its validity.Through studying the theory of Petri net and the related theory of the train operation dispatching, the hierarchical model of train operation dispatching at station is built. The simulation result shows the correctness and effectiveness of the model. The model has the important theoretical value and practical value for verifying the feasibility of train operation adjustment programs.
