Along with more and more serious environment polluting problems all over the world and reduce of fossil fuels which are limited conservation under the ground, people are thist for exploitation and use of renewable and sustainable energy. Wind power projects in China started late showing a lack of international competitiveness. The vertical axis wind turbine is only in recent years attracted everyone's attention, and its structure is relatively simple and easy-to-large-scale characteristics are also provided us with a new direction of development. In this thsis, a wind wheel aerodynamic performance prediction software for the aerodynamic characteristics of vertical axis wind turbine has been developed, based on Momentum-Blade Element Theory.Based on finite element code ANSYS, SF300K Vertical axis wind generator key parts of the intensity of issues were discussed. According to the basic principles of finite element dynamics, the modal analysis of finite element model to establish the principles and methods were researched. Analyzing to the inherent vibration characteristic of the SF300K Vertical axis wind generator, the systematic quality of the air blower and inertia couple characteristic data, the natural frequency of low steps of the air blower and inherent shaking type are provided. Combining the actual working condition, resonance characteristics of the system are evaluated.
