The genetic diversity of 107 kinds of spring barley species came from different region by SSR molecular marker Technologies were studied and agronomic trait and hordein in barley were analysised to have a complete recognization on genetic basis of barley germplasm resources in Xinjiang and providing scientific reference for parental selection of varieties improvement in the barley.The main results were as follows:1. Shannon-wiener (Hi),Variation coefficient (CV%) and extremum value of 8 agronomic traits were analyzed. The results showed that Hi varied from1.301-1.987 and CV% varied from 8.71%-38.80%.The plant height varied from 54.86 to 95.56cm,the spike length ranged from 4.76 to 11.40cm,the 1000-grains weight changed from 34.46 to 54.27,the protein contents varied from 9.6% to 16.7%, which showed that materials of Barley Germplasm Resources was quite abundance in Xinjiang.In relativity analysis that 9 traits had complicated correlativity and the relation between agronomic traits and the protein contents was not marked significant negative correlation.2. Genetic diversity of hordein was anayzed of 107 barley varieties by A-PAGE. The results showed that 26 hordein bands with different rate of relative migration were resolved in these materials, among which 23 (88.6%) were polymorphic, which indicated high genetic diversity. Hordein cluster analysis were in correlation with blood relation and geographic environment.3. Genetic diversity of hordein of 107 barley varieties was anayzed by 40 SSR primers. The result showed that 418alleles were determined, the average alleles number in provided primer was10.5, the range of diversity index from a pair of primers was from 0.2231 to 2.8964 and its average value was 1.4119. the diversity index of Dp128 was the highest, Xgwm819 was the lowest.The polymorphism information content (PIC) for the SSR loci varied from 0.3763-0.9632, PIC of DP128 was the highest and Xgwm819 was the lowest. SSR maker cluster analysis were in correlation with blood relation and geographic environment.4. The Variation trends of the average alleles numbe, polymorphism information content(PIC), average diversity index of Xbarc,Cfd,DP,Xgwm,Wmc family primers useing in this study were accordant.the trends were DP> Xbarc> Cfd> Wmc> Xgwm.5. The provided varieties can be divided into 6 types and 13 subtypes by SSR maker cluster analysis, while they can be divided into 6 types and 9 subtypes by hordein cluster analysis.and can be divided into 6 types and 8 subtypes by gronomic trait. The analysis to identity rate of cluster and comparison results in gronomic trait, quality trait and SSR marker indicated that there was certain relationship in three cluster methods, but it was not obvious.
