The influence of some metal ions in seawater disposed by Cephlex 100 on survival, growth and activity of alkaline phosphatase(AKP) and ATPase in two- species shrimps(penaeus chinensis and Penaeus japonicus) were studied. The results showed: 1 When the Cu>, Mn>, Sr> concentrations in seawater were 10, 20, 20 1.1 g/L respectively, the survival rate and metamorphosis rateof P chinensis mysis were highest. But high concetrations decreased them. 2 The optimum requirements of P.chinensis postlarvae for Cu> and Co2 in seawater were 20, 40 ii g/L respectively. Ni2 in cultured seawater could not promote the survival and growth of the shrimps. 3 The optimum requirements of Pjaponicus larvae for Zn>and Mn> were 40 i-i gIL. 4.Alkaline phosphatase(AKP) and ATPase are two kinds of enzymes that are related to growth and development of animals. Cu>, Co2 Mn> which concentrations were 40, 40, 20 i gIL respectively could increased the activity of AKP in Pchinensis mysis significantly, but higher concentrations decreased the activity. Low Cu2 concentrations(40-80 t g/L) could increased the activities of AKP and ATPase in Pchinensis postlarvae significantly(p<0.05), Co> at 20 t g/L increased the activities, but Ni2could not activate the activities of two kinds of enzymes. As to shrimp Pjaponicus, Zn>and Mn> at 40 t g/L respectivily could increased the activity of AKP. Because changes of AKP and ATPase activities were in accordance with the growth, activities of AKP and ATPase could be viewed as the indicators which asses the phiological condition of the shrimps.
