Calyx Flower The Brachionus Non Mictic Female And Male Genomic Dna Of The Rapd Analysis

In order to discuss the genetic backgrounds which lead to the sex differentiation of rotifer Brachionus calyciflorus, the genomic DNA of amictic female and male rotifer clone cultured in the lab was analyzed by RAPD ,clone and sequencing technology . Ten of the thirty primers produced one or more special fragments from amictic female or male rotifer and it showed the genetic backgrounds difference between them. By repeated testing, special fragments could be stably produced by primers B15 and B18 respectively in amictic female and male rotifer. The special fragments was separated, cloned and sequenced. The sequences were referred to GenBank and the sequences numbers were: AY907696 and AY898611. There were not any high homology sequence match to the two sequences and it showed that they could be new sequences.
