Using 70%ethanol at 70℃to extract peach leaves,pear leaves,apricot leaves, hawthorn leaves,apple leaves,walnut leaves,plum leaves,persimmon leaves, chestnut leaves,jujube leaves,grape leaves,pomegranate leaves,mulberry leaves and begonia leaves of flavonoid compounds showed that:14 kinds of total flavonoids in the leaves were:4.96%;1.85%;0.31%;2.92%;2.85%;2.40%;1.02%;0.73%;0.28%;3.13 %;1.59%;0.86%;0.99%;3.99%.AB-8 macroporous resin suitable to purificate the extract of the 14 kinds of flavonoids.All of extract of this 14 species leaves have antioxidant activity.Antioxidant capacity for the size of relations:Vc>chestnut leaves>plum leaves>BHT>pomegranate leaves>persimmon leaves>leaves>begonia leaves>walnut leaves>hawthorn leaves>apricot leaves>apple leaves>pear leaves>mulberry leaves>grape leaves>jujube leaves.The extract of peach leaves,pear leaves,apricot leaf,hawthorn leaves and apple leaf have antimicrobial effect.
