The ginsenoside in the notoginseng has great medicinal property,while the product of microbial transformation,rare ginsenoside,has more higher activity and more development foreground.In this paper, the best microbial strains which can transform the ginsenoside in the notoginseng to higher activity and rare ginsenoside was selected from the soil planting the ginseng.Then the microbial strains was identified as Aspergillus sp.The methods of TLC and HPLC were discussed for getting a more accuracy qualitative and quantitative analysis result. Finally, the best developing agent of TLC and the best condition of HPLC were both attained.Two aim samples of higher purity were also gained using the methods of C18 Reversed-phase Column Chromatography together with the Silica Gel Column Chromatography.They were identified as ginsenoside Rh1 and ginsenoside Rg3 though TLC and HPLC.The purity result from HPLC is as follow:ginsenoside Rh1 ,96.4%; ginsenoside Rg3 , 97.8%.The optimization condition of fermentation was studied for improving the yield of these kind of ginsenosides.
