Wetland is the most important natural resource except ocean and forest. It can reduce flood and drought, offer clean water, regulate the ground water and protect the coastline. The continuous exploitation of wetland in inner Mongolian lead to the increasingly deterioration of wetland and environment. The wetland do not have the opportunity to regeneration, its area is become smaller consequently. This article is aim at the research on three typical lands (meadow, sandy land and dunes depression), in order to offer some useful data for the reasonable utilization of inner Mongolian wetland, and to keep the ecological balance. The results are as follow:1. After the experiments on mechanical composition, we can find that:the soil in all the sample plots are sand soil. With the increase of the soil depth, the proportion of soil particle in meadow soil dose not have obviously change, while the soil particle in sandy land and dunes depression is become smaller. The silt average value sequence is: meadow soil> sandy soil> dunes depression soil, and the clay average value sequence is:dunes depression soil> meadow soil> sandy soil.2. The organic carbon content in research area is quite low. The average value sequence is:dunes depression soil> meadow soil> sandy soil. In the vertical direction, the organic carbon content in meadow soil gradually decreases along with the increase of the soil depth. And that in sandy soil and dunes depression soil is become more with the increase of the soil depth.3. The sequence of pH value in three sample plots is:meadow soil> sandy soil> dunes depression soil. With the increase of the soil depth, pH value in all the sites reduces increasingly.4. The sequence of electrical conductivity in three sample plots is:dunes depression soil> sandy soil> meadow soil. When the soil depth increase, electrical conductivity in meadow soil diminished gradually, that in sandy soil reduced at first, but rebound again. Electrical conductivity in dunes depression soil is raised gradually.5. The carbonate experiment shown us that, the sequence of carbonate content in research area is:sandy soil> dunes depression soil> meadow soil. Carbonate of subsurface soil in all the sites is higher than that in surface soil.6. The correlation analysis about physical and chemical properties in horizontal direction shown us that:silt particle and clay particle, and carbonate have a negative correlation. Organic carbon content and pH value have a negative correlation. pH value and electrical conductivity have a negative correlation. The correlations of other properties are not significant.7. The analysis on vertical direction shown us that:the physical and chemical properties in same silt have significant correlation, but that in different silt are various. The correlation change by the environment, it indicates that these properties are influence by wind, evaporation and ground water, the interaction among them are not inevitable.
