Effects Of Yougui Wan On The System Of Inhibin-activin-follistatin In Rats With Premature Ovarian Failure (pof)

Objective:To explore the effects of Yougui Wan on the system of Inhibin-Activin-Follistatin in POF rats.Methods:Created POF rats model by injecting Zona pellucida peptide,compared the serum level of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH),luteinizing hormone (LH),estradiol (E2),inhibin B (INH-B),activin A (ACT-A),follistatin (FS) in different groups(blank control group,model group,low dose of Yougui Wan group,middle dose of Yougui Wan group,high dose of Yougui Wan group and progynova group)by using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay,and observed the morphological changes in ovarian tissue.Result:The serum level of FSH,LH,ACT-A in POF rats increased dramatically after modeling (P<0.01);while E2,INH-B,FS decreased significantly (P<0.05);middle dose of Yougui Wan could increase the serum level of FSH (P<0.05);both middle dose and high does of Yougui Wan could increase E2 value (P<0.05);high does of Yougui Wan could increase the serum level of INH-B,FS,while reduce the serum level of LH (P<0.05),however,it had no obvious effect on ACT-A,(P>0.05);low does of Yougui Wan had no effect on FSH,LH,INH-B,ACT-A (P>0.05).Conclude:INH-ACT-FS system,an important regulator for ovarian function,plays an important role in regulating female reproductive function.INH-B and FS inhibit follicular atresia,while ACT-A promotes follicular atresia.Yougui Wan can make follicle grow,develop,and mellow normally,and also stimulate it to secrete E2,inhibit the serum level of INH-B and FS,which can restore ovarian function,and thus treat premature ovarian failure.
