Objective:To investigate the effects of different means of fluid resuscitation on apoptosis of liver in rats with hemorrhagic shock.Methods:40 Wistar rats were randomly divied into 5 groups:sham group, shock group, Lactatea Kingers Solution group(RL), Hydroxylethy starch group(HES) and autotransfusion group with eight rats per group. Each group was subjected to hemorrhagic shock for 1h, fellowed by resuscitation with lactated Ringers Solution, Hydroxylethy starch and blood for 2h. The rats were killed and their livers were taken out to undergo pathology. Cell apoptosis was examed by TUNEL.The volumes of bleeding and resuscitation fluid were recorded.Results:1.The resuscitation fluid volumes of BL group and HES group were significantly lower than that of RL group (P<0.05), but BL group was approached to HES group(P>0.05). The liver index of snocK group was obviously higher than other groups (P<0.05), the index of BLgroup was significantly lower than RL group and HES group, and RL group was approached to HES group (P>0.05).2.The inflammation activity score of sham group was obviously lower than other groups(P<0.05), and the score of shock group was obviously higher than other groups(P<0.05). Among the three resuscitation group, the score of RL group was higher than the other two groups(P<0.05). The result of pathology shows that resuscitation can reduce the hepatic injury. Compared with sham group, the order of pathology change was BL group,HES group,RL group,shock group.3.The apoptotic indexes of the three resuscitation groups were that of the shock groun (P<0.05). The apoptotic indexes of RL group and HES group were significantly higher than that of the sham group (P<0.05), but were significantly lower than significantly higher than that of BL group (P<0.05), the apoptotic index of RL group was approached to HES group (P>0.05).4. The correlation between inflammation activity and apoptosis of liver was linear positive (r=0.928). The correlation between apoptosis and pathology injury of liver was linear positive (r=0.848). Cell apoptosis of liver was intimate to pathology injury.Conclusions:Fluids resuscitation can decrease inflammation reaction, pathology injury and (?) (?) apoptosis of liver. Among three different means of resuscitation, Hydroxylethy starch and autotranstusion group have the same effects, compared with Ringers Solution, they can increase effective circuiating blood volume blood resuscitation can obviously decrease cell apoptosis and pathology injury, could be the best means of resuscitation. Cell apoptosis of liver was intimate to inflammation activity and pathology injury.
