Method:From July of 2008 to October of 2008,adopt a random, cluster sampling approaches to investigate the elderly people aged 60 or above living in three communities of Urumqi. A total of 1511 survey. Males were 686,females were 825;Han nationalities were 1454,Uygurs were 57. Results:(1)According to the 2000 census age composition of the whole nation,Obesity crude prevalence rate was 67.50%,adjusted standardized incidence was 66.05%;Hyperpiesia crude prevalence rate was 40.76%,adjusted standardized incidence was 38.56%;Impaired fasting glycaemia crude prevalence rate was 12.04%,adjusted standardized incidence was 11.40%;Stroke crude prevalence rate was 12.97%,adjusted standardized incidence was 12.60%;High-triglyeride crude prevalence rate was 35.20%,adjusted standardized incidence was 34.92%;High cholesterolemia crude prevalence rate was 36.12%,adjusted standardized incidence was 34.69%;High low-density lipoproteinemia crude prevalence rate was 43.14%,adjusted standardized incidence was 44.39%;Low high-density lipoproteinemia crude prevalence rate was 10.20%,adjusted standardized incidence was 8.33%;MCI crude prevalence rate was 9.66%,adjusted standardized incidence was 9.63%.(2)The prevalence of hyperpiesia,high-triglyeride and MCI increased with ageing(P<0.05).The prevalence of obesity decreased with ageing(P<0.05).(3)Female prevalence of hyperpiesia,high-triglyeride,high-cholesterolemia and obesity were higher than male(P<0.05). Male prevalence of low high-density lipoproteinemia was higher than Female(P<0.05). Conclusion:In the communities of Urumqi, the elderly prevalence rate of NCD was high. The prevalence rate of NCD has significance differences among different ages and sexualities(P<0.05).
