Lao She is one of great masters in the history of modern Chinese literature. His novels focus on the performance of public sectors and the public characters. He figured many immortal artistic images, of which the female image shares a quarter. These female images building has a direct relationship with factors of the writer's living environment, growing experience and cultural traditions. Among his female images, three types of women are most vividly depicted by Lao She:Virtuous female with good behaviors and tenacity; beauties are often ill-fated or descend into prostitutes;"Shrew" who dare to "roar like a lion". Compared with the writers in the same period, Lao She's concept of feminine is more traditional. He appreciated the gentle and kind, frugal, tolerant and virtuous women, felt pity for those unfortunate prostitutes because of the forced life, detested and frightened fierce "shrew" who trump man. Based on Lao She's feminism, we found that Lao She's emotional tropism marked with a male oriented consciousness to the female image in his work. In his works, "Delicate and Exquisite" which reflects the male aesthetic interest, eulogizing and praise to "maternal", tolerance or not conflict with the ethical standards when in the face of "non-virgins", and the subject consciousness'fear and disgust to the appearance of "male localized" female. These are all proven that the man-centered consciousness hidden inside the heart of Lao She.
