| Huang Zi was a well-known contemporary composer and musicologist of China. His works have highly artistic appreciation. Of all his works the art songs created specifically for the concert solos are the most valuable and largest part, which best represents his creative style and achievement.Nostalgia is one outstanding represent of his art songs for concert solos, and it is still being sung by professional vocal learners and vocal educationalists for the purpose of cultivating and enhancing their artistic culture.This thesis centers on the study of Nostalgia. After fully explaining its creative background and analyzing its artistic features, the author intends to start the thesis with the three aspects—how to grasp the whole singing style of Nostalgia; the musical analysis of the song; the whole pre-arrangement of the artistic treatment in singing, and meanwhile the author puts forward the personal views and opinions on how to sing the song, so as to provide certain references for vocal educationalists and learners who make their artistic performances more precise, more lively, and more possessing artistic appeal when they are singing. |
