Chinese family instructions has a long history, it takes an important educational function in the ancient families, it is meaningful for today's family education. On the base of the research of the predecessors in this field, this dissertation selects Song Dynasty which comes forward for a prosperity period in the Chinese family instructions history to analyze, with methods of documenting, individual case analysis, comparison. By the analysis of Song Dynasty, to summarize the contents and characteristics of Song Dynasty family instructions which inherts and develops the prior, also to make an active influence for the latter, to know that relevant family instructions will appear in different social hierarchy such as emperor scholar-bureaucrat, woman, children, etc. Among these, the most representatively one is scholar-bureaucrat,their family instructions have a farther influence for the roughscuff tagrag. The Confucianism is regarded as the major thought which evolves into Neo-Confucianism in Song Dynasty, the family instructions culture contains dense Neo-Confucianistic color, in the head of the family education thought, Neo-Confucianism runs through from the imperial family to ordinary people's. At the same time, with the advancement of commercial economy in Song Dynasty, the Song's appears the precept on life earning, financing, etc.The style of the family instructions is richer than before, beside the rescript, imperial orders, letter, table, etc. a mass of family instrctions monograph and sample reels comes out.
