ShiYunXi is an important phonology works of Wang Xuan in Qing Dynasty. The book is formed in 1723. This book is aimed to standardize popular rhyme, including 57 metrical drawings. In addition, three is a metrical book with the same phonetic system. Since the author don't have a big reputation, nobody has a systematic study on it up to now.The paper aims at studying the phonetic quality of ShiYunXi, the thought of phonology and metrical pattern of poetry which the author explained in ShiYunXi. And the aim is to let people have a profound understanding of the book, using internal analysis,sound mathematical analysis,statistical analysis and so on, and the aim is to analyse the system of Consonant, Vowel, and Tone. Based on it, we conclude the phonetic quality of ShiYunXi. We also study other phonology knowledge appearing in ShiYunXi. Through these, we make the rich content in ShiYunXi appears comoletely.
