The Dialogue Between Milo The Master And Me The Research On The Similarity Phenomenon In Artistic Creation

This Essay is a statement caused by a remark"Your paintings share some similarities with Milo the Master."It is this remark that opens my interest in the collections of Milo's painting.I have found the following similarities in the idea and the way of expression between Milo's painting and mine through careful analysis on Milo's works and his creating process.1. It is the folk painting style at the beginning of the creation, in the style of embroidery toward the expression of plants.2. The creative thinking in the painting.3. The pursuit of fantastic and poetic effect.4. The practice of implied and symbolic way of expression.5. The appearance of signs in the painting.By analyzing each similarity I have found that all the five similarities are with differences and also have made detailed analysis toward them.Through the deep dialogue with Milo the Master, I have found that this way of comparison could differ the similarities in works so as to confirm my own idea and perspective through the comparison.In real creation, we should stop to analyze the reasons of similarities if we found them between our own paintings and those of masters'so that we could get to know and discuss the truth of the art through the phenomenon of artistic creation.
