In 1953, Winston Churchill acquired a Nobel Literature Prize. 30 years later,England just produced another Nobel Literature Prize gainer, he is William Golding.Sweden College of Arts gave him the Nobel Literature Prize at 1983, evaluating hisnovel "have clear realism description technique, fabricate story of diverse catholicityand elaborate the circumstances of mankind in nowdays, world." Meantime, "hisnovel is not only full of amusement, but also cause scholar,s interese of the literaturefield, importantly, the scholars can discover the deeply ambiguity and complexity inhis work.." Exactly because of this reason, his novel creations is pay attention to bythe local educational circles fully. The relevant research shines on a animatedprospects in difference culture under different literature theory,s influence. However, taking a wide view of recent 20 years research, we mostly still stay originallyanalytical commentary of text, although not lack of new meaning among them, whatwe have done only tested the evaluation of his novel in total, while gave no answer towhat factor achieve this kind of art form which has lefting inside connotation. Thistext is to commence from answering this problem, putting forward the ultimate valueof his work — the strong fantastic consciousness. As a kind of art skill, fantastic can trace back to ancient Greece of more than2000 years, such as the father of ancient Greece drama Alisituodfen expressed serioustopic with the fantastic form. Since entering 20 centuries, fantastic is given an all newcontents on the top of the traditional foundation. Being an important phenomenon inthe literature, it becomes a strange topic which people can not be free from itsinfluence but again can not say its internality. Many first–rates writer of world aredeeply influenced by it, Golding is not exception. The reason why someone si calledthe first–rates writer si his brilliant place — they can hold the symptoms of the agesaccurately and take it into the expression of art, which forms the soul of the work. Also is saying from this meaning, what we currently first should do is the confidenceto this "soul", then just may take this as medium, and do a more overall understandingto the creations of the writer. This thesis to Golding,s novel creations in the treatise ofthe fantastic consciousness mainly launches from following few parts:Preface, the concise introduction of chooses about the recent research conditionand the existent shortage in the research.. Pointing out: article with fantasticresearching angle make a investigation on Golding,s novel creations, just in order toflounce the traditional topic research mode, go deep into every aspect from narratorand receiver to the text, and even the deep connotation of text. With wish to make arelative total evaluation of Golding,s novel creations.Chapter 1, Fantastic. To define the basic content of "fantastic" is the priorcondition that this thesis launch, through trace back to fantastic,s origins, thediscussion of the fantastic and grottesco and it,s fixed position,it is explicit: Thefantastic is an aesthetic concept, and it means the thing and form are abnormal, notreasonable appearance. It deviates from nature of possibility, but don,t deviate frominside of possibility, so it should become one of the category of the esthetic,s concern.Chapter 2, The formation of author,s fantastic consciousness. Fantastic fellingactions as a kind of subject,s experience, don,t have the common adaptability, and itdevides into different form because of individual,s different cognition. This partmainly points out: Fantastic, this conceptual of individual experience to Golding, concentrate on the concern of the traditional value — "dark of person,s heart" andfearness towards the world which is covered with shadows.Chaper 3, Writer,s fantastic consciousness,s performance method and fact qualityin text. Include three parts: individual consciousness under mental confusion, crisisconsciousness under social confusion, critical consciousness under intuitionalappearance. Although the content or the art form have the possibility to deviate fromthe nature, it gives an unique appearance — the abnormality and illness of theexterior world and the distortion and indigence of people,s mental world.Chapter 4, The usage of the art skill under the author ,s fantastic consciousness.Outstanding two points: the smart combination of realistic descriptions and symbolicsystem form the all new modern satire and the convertible personage,s deductionforms the anti–traditional topic. This kind of art skill contents with the text, havingsignificant fuction in sublimating topic and enhancing subject,s sound.Chapter 5, Fantastic as spirit spot in the writer,s text. It mainly contains: beunfamiliar to appreciate beauty means, multilayers to appreciate beauty connotation, abnormal with really appreciating beauty spirit, and sad blended with pleasure ofappreciating beauty state. From the subversion of traditional appreciating beauty, svalue to the negative of negation of holding ego in huge fantastic is a realization to thepleasure of appreciating beauty, but try to exaggerate the appreciating beauty spirit ofpeople,s fitness to the modern society is just its deeply appreciating beauty aim. Conclusion, using fantastic as an angle of investigative view to the author, screations is not the writer,s speciality, but the usage of this kind of angle of view isvalued by people gradually. After all in today, modernism literature is graduallyprosperous, and fantastic holds the absurdity and unreasonableness of people,s existcircumstances in aesthetic altitute, subrenting the cultent description mode of people, sstructure mode of aesthetic words, still having very strong vitality.
