The Comparison Research On Some Competition-related Factors Between Cba And Kbl

Korea basketball team is our most competitive rival in Asia. In order to innovatively find out developing conditions, superiorities and differences between chinese basketball league CBA and korean basketball League KBL, this reseach based on 08-09 season, has used literature material law, interview law, mathematics and statistics law and logical analytic method, from players' physical condition and age, competition rules, competition suspense, offensive and defensive characteristics, foreign players'functions five aspects to make detailedly comparison and analysis. Finally has got a lot of information and comparison summary, which showed that:compared with KBL, the advantages of CBA represent as following:players' physical condition is better, age is younger, competition rules are reasonable, nationally and prospective, the overall level of league is higher and offensive level of player is more powerfull, foreign players are more famous and starts effect is better etc. Meanwhile compared with KBL, CBA also has disadvantages as following:players' weight is not enough and the distribution of age is unreasonable, competition rules are unstable, competition schedule is lack of randomness, the strength of each team is seriously imbalance, lack of effective balancing systems, over-reliance on foreign players etc. This reseach has detailedly analysed the reasons of CBA's disadvantages and the performance characteristics of these disadvantages, and finally proposed some improving suggestions and hope these could be helpful to CBA's long-term development.
