| GMDSS(Global Maritime Distress and Safety System) was fully implemented on the 1 February 1992. GMDSS simulator's developing is a hotspot to meet the training of seafarers in national and international.In the operating training of the GMDSS equipment, if using the real equipment of the vessel, the cost of the training is very high, because the cost of the each equipment on VHF is about thirty thousands yuan. The second question is false alerting, once alerting will cause the action of RCC (Rescue Coordination Centre). The third are aging and damage of the equipment by using frequently. These questions will not exist if we use the simulator of GMDSS in the training. Simulator of GMDSS is a good solution in the training to decrease the cost and false alert and develop the quantity of the training.The design takes the full advantage of the technology of programming of the computer and net communication, developing of multimedia.1.This design uses for the object-oriented, event-based, with a strong network programming capabilities ActionScript programming language.2.We developed a powerful multimedia communication simulator using Flash Media Server as the server and using Flash as the client development tools.3.Using Flash as client development tools, make full use of Flash multimedia development capabilities to develop a good man-machine interface simulator.4.Make full use of XML technology, providing a convenient and powerful support to client configuration of the simulator.The Innovation of the Design:1.With Flash Media Server as a network of multimedia communications servers and with the ActionScript as the development of language, convenient, efficient, stable and reliable way to achieve the VHF simulator data communications, voice communications.2. In the simulator development, using the VHF radio photo as processing objects, using PhotoShop, Flash and other multimedia processing software, to achieve that can interact with the user, with a high degree of VHF simulation simulator. 3.Use of XML technology for server parameters, VHF radio parameter settings and deployment, that is convenient connection between the server and client deployment, but also, the actual equipment used in practice.The simulator has been completed simulation projects include:the FURUNO VHF Marine radio operator interface, buttons, and the screen; the main function of DSC including distress call, urgency call, routine call, relay and acknowledgement; the main function of radiotelephone, the voice communication of distress, urgency and routine by radiotelephone between the ships and between ship and coast stations.The simulator achieves all the functions of the real machine with high degree of simulation. It reaches the GMDSS training requirements. |
