| Nowadays in the process of information systems construction, many enterprises have a number of isolated information systems. These systems have differences in hardware, software, data formats, etc. result to the disadvantage to the data share and the data interactivity. How to organize and manage the data of heterogeneous systems is enterprise faced urgency problem. In this paper, Based on compare of the merit and flaw of current major data integration methods, the paper proposes a kind of data warehouse-middleware architecture based on XML technology, and uses the appropriate method to deal with property for different data,. Heterogeneous data integration with the previous system, an important difference is this system is based on user access to data of different characteristics of the data is divided into periodic data, real-time data, historical data, and set up a relationship between global and local model with XML schema. The historical data use a method of data warehouse to stored and access,because historical data have some features such as large amount of data, changes have a long period.As the periodic data and real-time data have the characteristics of changes quickly-. shortly update and so on, so various heterogeneous data sources are direct accessed by middleware approach.At the same time,this system introduction of data buffer. Improved the efficiency of data access.XML has become the recognized standards for data exchange in internet ages, which has many advantages and is a hot spot of current research and application.
