| This thesis mainly research and solve a key issue encountered in the user management and billing systems'construction of Suzhou cable broadband access network, namely, the choice of suitable methods and authentication standards, and design of broadband cable access network authentication system. Authentication system will not only be suitable for the actual cable broadband network, but also take into account the ease of use and reliability, openness and scalability of the system.This thesis first analyse and research DOCSIS standard on the cable broadband access network, and the mainstream authentication technologies on the broadband market, including PPPOE, 802.1X, and DHCP + WEB authentication techniques in detail. On the basis of a comprehensive and in-depth understanding to the cable access network, DHCP+WEB authentication technology is introduced to the field of cable broadband authentication for the first time.Then this thesis study the key technologies and key equipments related to the DHCP+ WEB authentication system, including DHCP, RADIUS, BRAS and so on. The system improve and innovate the DHCP+WEB technology, the computer's MAC address taken from DHCP packet is a unique ID of a user, the computer's MAC address is authenticated throught the user's name and password, the certified computer's MAC address is used to the basis for authentication and billing. The system will enable a monthly payment user boot to Internet when his computer start up after registration, the corresponding authentication process is in the background, the process is user-friendly. In addition, the system also has a function of time billing, and has the flexibility to add new business function.A detailed design process of the DHCP + WEB authentication system is carried out in this thesis, several organic standard and protocol involved in the system are associated throught the development of WEB server. The last part introduces a detailed design of the system. The system has been put into use, and is running well. |
