| In the field of LCD, compared with traditional CRT display, lcd with the advantages of high resolution, high-definition, and the high brightness, so it has developed rapidly. However, when the lcd show the moving pictures , it also has appear the smear and the fuzzy circumstances, and this defect will become one of the major obstacles to restricted the development of LCD. How to solve this problem has also become more important. After in-depth study, people have found that the reasons of LCD motion picture smear and fuzzy include: the response speed of LCD, the hold-type displays of LCD and the human visual characteristics. Currently, there are many solutions to solve these problems , such as interpolation technology, backlight scanning technology, reverse filtering technology. In order to improve the hold-type of LCD ,people have been proposed the technology of the motion estimation and compensation frame interpolation. This technology is based on movement prediction and compensation algorithm, with the realization of low-cost, excellent display,so it is widely used to solve the problem of tailing and fuzzy in motion pictures. In this paper, according to analysis of compensation algorithm ,we have proposed an improved algorithm of frame interpolation technology, it will enhance the moving image of LCD display.In this paper, first,we analyze the reason of moving picture smear and fuzzy when it shows by LCD.These analysis are based on three aspects,which is LCD display principle(hold-type);human visual characteristics; and the material of LCD. These reveal how to better and more effective to solution and reduce the tailing phenomenon of LCD..Secondly, this paper analyses the technology of motion estimate and compensation algorithm and introduces the detail of widely used in this technology. By comparing a large number of algorithms ,we summarize some of the advantages and shortcomings in current algorithm. And prove that to be solve the problem of tailing must be enhance its real-time computing and improve the quality of algorithms. Then this article combination of the motion estimation algorithm with image segmentation in the matching process; In the process of search for images ,in different regions, we used different types of movement template to make some improvements and optimization to better solve the problem of LCD tailing.At last, this paper used experimental platform of JM12.2 and a lots of different video sequences to testing the algorithm of improvementd. The results of the experimental data approved that the algorithm of improved make much optimization in real-time computing and image quality. This algorithm is suitable for motion estimation and compensation technology to solve the tailing effect of LCD motion picture. |
