In today's manufacturing information era.facing the increasingly fierce global competition.enterprises must take the market as guide.take customers as the center.and response to market demand rapidly.Under this situation.the production mode of more and more enterprises have changed to "make to order".To an enterprise which can produce a variety of products.different products combination will bring different profits.This paper analysed the problems of Shijiazhuang Iron and Steel Co. Ltd. in the evaluation and confirmation of customers' orders.established the mathematical model for order optimization.optimized the customer groups.satisfied the demands of key customers.maximized the profits on the premise of taking into the full consideration of all restraints of the enterprise.According to the practise in order evaluation.Ⅰdeveloped the system of sales optimization which greatly increased the work efficiency.This paper includes five chapters.The first chapter analyzed the situation which Shijiazhuang Iron and Steel Co. Ltd. faced.introduced its basic facts.pointed out the shortages of its sales management.and then put forward the research content of this paper.ChapterⅡintroduced the theory and method of sales optimization.especially formulated the theory of customer management which this paper based on .The third chapter analyzed the current condition of Shijiazhuang Iron and Steel Co. Ltd. in sales management in detail.pointed out the problems in customer management.order optimization and computer application which gave the direction for sales optimization.ChapterⅣis the research in sales optimization which totally analyzed the enterprise's current customers.determined its key customers.optimized the evaluation and confirmation of customers' orders.established the mathematical model of inventory matching and order optimization.The research was applied to pratice.as a result.the work-in-process inventory was greatly reduced.funds tied-up were decreased and enterprise's profits were greatly increased.ChapterⅤis the program development of the sales optimization which integrated the function of customers data management.products data management.customers demand management.customers order evaluation and confirmation and production schedule management.The program system increased work efficiency and achieved the goal expected.
