Because of the information technology penetrated in all fields, changing the method of the economic increase, changing the both method of existing and management of industry, the development of information technology and information industry laid a solid foundation for economic increase of our country.The application in enterprise of modern information technology largely improves the operation and management pattern of enterprise, offers a new space for achieving information to enterprise,results in enormous economic benefit, it has played an very important role in the contributions to the national economic growth. In all research, it is rare to find the document of information technology prompt the economic increase directly, this paper attempts to analysis the relationship between information technology and economic growth, try to find out how does the information technology impact national economic growth. Analyzing the mechanism of development of the information technology in our country.This paper first summarized the research results in domestic and abroad, defines the basic concepts of information technology and the theories of economic growth. Then On this basis, this dissertation firstly analyzes nearly thirty years of the influence factors of economic growth in China, the drivers of enterprises to apply IT and points out that the market competition is the original drive, information demands of enterprises to apply IT constituted the internal drive and industrialization of it is the external drive.According to above analysis, raise the Mechanism of frame of information technology prompt the economic increase, indicating that information technology prompt the economic increase by three layers. At first, the application of information technology in enterprise, through information technology make reform on performance, business flow and organization structure, show the mechanism of information technology apply in enterprise. At second, it analyzed the development of our IT industry, selecting manufacturing,telecommunications,financial show that information technology evolution in industry. At last, analyzing information technology have impact on primary industry; secondary industry, tertiary industry. Through the analysis to three different layers, come to a conclusion that no matter which layer information technology happened, the last result is economic increase in Macro.Then use the information technology and GDP data in 1987-2007 to conducting quantitative analysis. In the Part of empirical research, cointegration theory has been used to prove the long-term equilibrium relationship between GDP and information technology in our county. Summarizes the research achievements of text, points out the shortcomings.Through this paper's research we found the information industry play an improving role to promote the growth of economy.
