The Terrain Region Complementary Growth Patterns

In China, due to the specific political, economic background, the division of administration may have rigid constraint on the regional development, infrastructure and environment construction. In every province of development planning and distribution of productive forces, they often focus on central cities and adjacent areas and the junction area is often negligence. Due to the different interests in different subjects, similar items, over-exploitation; even lacking of overall concepts, so they may affect the combination of resources and the overall efficiency of the full region seriously even in resource-rich border areas. We have study and explored regional economic problems a lot, but less explored about the urban economic issues based on complementary between different areas and different topography, so I proposed a mode about how to improve regional economy based on topography and regional differences. From the view of complementary between different areas and different topography to research the development of cities are suitable for relatively poor areas, location specific, regional convergence zone areas. In the crossing areas are very easy to do mutual benefits and areas complementary advantages with other areas due to its geographical conditions advantages and natural conditions advantages, and eventually to improve economy between each other.Based on complementary between different areas and different topography, this paper takes the development of Zhaotong economy as a target. And analyze current developments about Zhaotong and development of surrounding cities, including Yibin,Bijie,Kunming,Chengdu,Chongqing,Guiyang, through the China Statistical Yearbook, Yearbook of Chinese cities, Zhaotong government data, other related information and practical study of combining research to collect data. Based on the situation of building complementary advantages, industry linked among Yunnan,Sichuan,Guizhou and Chongqing,and the environment of going to the Southeast Asia-channel, the article analyze the factors that affecting location advantages, that including natural resources, labor, financial capital, geographical location, human capital, science and technology and policy regimes. Then according to the key factors mentioned above to establish the best location Comparative Analysis system. During Zhaotong,Yibin and Bijie. Then use AHP and Delphi method to determine the best location advantage, and the result is Zhaotong city. Finally,based on complementary between difference areas and difference topography, propose sustainable development strategy for Zhaotong city, the strategies are building a economic zone and Zhaotong as a city-centered; supporting returning rural workers to open companies; logistics development strategy; tourism development strategy. This paper has a profound significance for linking economic between Kunming, Chengdu, Guiyang, Chongqing and other cities and good for economic development in Zhaotong city.
