This paper uses the method of interpretation to demonstrate the realism significance of the "structural power" of Susan Strange by study the structural power theory considerately and profoundly, and also by analyzing current US financial crisis and it's influence. Structural Power theory overcome the shortcoming of explanation of international political power by using the theory of realism, and it's objective,comprehensive and most of all nonaligned point of view in international politics and economics field is a huge transcend, which is compared with realism political theory of power.Foremost, section one Provides a brief overview of the core theory of Structural Power by Susan Strange, including:basic concept, core theory, the meaning of the theory, the partition of Structural Power and Relational Power, analysis of the power structure and secondary power structure in the world economy. The framework of this cognition constitute an important challenge to the research ways of international relations, and it also bring a new understanding of power category and structure. Meanwhile, section two explores the significance of the core idea of Structural Power by Susan Strange, combining the reason of current US financial Crisis. This part give us a explanation and interpretation of the reason of US financial Crisis from four respect of the theory of the structure power by Susan Strange:production structure, financial structure, knowledge structure and security structure. This argumentation let us more easily grasp the core idea of the theory of structural power. In addition, the third section outlines the explanatory power and superiority of the theory of Structural Power,, including the theoretical contribution of the theory, effective combination of politics and economics, clarify the relationship of power structure and markets, highlight the real care and critical spirit of the scholars in international relations. Compared with other international relations theory, the factor-neutral thought of Structural Power is more actual and inclusive. And meanwhile, the thesis also raises several limitation of the theory of structural power.
