Problems In International Trade Finance Business Of The Commercial Banks In China And Countermeasures

With a higher level of economy internationalization and the entry to WTO, China's foreign trade has developed rapidly, for contributing to national economic growth, also for opening up a vast market of international trade finance. In recent years, domestic banks has made a great progress in international trade finance business,but in general, China's international trade finance business still be the start situation, and its standardization should be perfected. Therefore, we should study comprehensively and deeply both in theory and practice of international trade finance, in order to make a scientific and operational developed innovative approaches to innovate international trade finance effectively, and to support China's foreign trade better, and also help domestic commercial banks change to international commercial banks.In view of the development of international trade finance, based on domestic and foreign theoretical results and practical experience, this paper searches a lot of relevant books, papers and cases, then analyses the basic concept and characteristic of international trade finance, introduces and compares the way of international trade finance under traditional settlement, and clarifies the need of innovation through analyzing western relevant theory innovation of international trade finance. And also concludes western innovative features, such as concept, technology, service model, business development strategy and so on. This paper clarifies the main problems in China's international trade finance based on the study on its development status in China. This paper goes ahead and gives some suggestions about the development of trade finance innovation, through comprehending theories of finance, economy, management and other aspects, and also considers our country's situation. This paper makes a new concept about trade finance of domestic commercial bank, that is to establish a model of supply chain, seek more flexible and effective way of credit management, include the financial challenges of the third logistic party, emphasize the management concept of supplying trade finance business to SMEs. Combined of our country's reality, proposes the establishment and improvement of an effective internal and external systems, and explore how to create conditions for innovation and how to give a new meaning to our country's international trade finance after learning western innovative results.
