Coordination Of The Intrinsic Relationship Of The Management System And Coordinated Management

Because of modern projects with large scale, long cycle, high technology and involving a wide range of professional, in their management coordination has become increasingly important. So then coordinated management theory comes into being. Since the value of theory is to guide practice, how to implement coordinated management and implement efficiently are challenges that project manager is facing. From the perspective of construction projects, according to theories of coordinated management of construction projects, coordination economics and new institutional economics, this paper tries to put forward a concept of coordinated management institution, discusses the intrinsic relationship between coordinated management institution and coordination management, and analyzes the role of coordinated management institution in the implementation of coordinated management. The purpose of it is to guide coordinated management to be implemented efficiently.First of all, according to the theory of coordinated management of construction projects, the paper points out that the inevitable conflicts within and outside project organization are the causes of coordinated management. Then by analyzing the relationship between institution and the conflicts, it concluds that an unreasonable institution is a major source of conflict in project organization and the institution is an important mechanism of adjustting relations within and outside organization. Thus it puts forward the concept of coordinated management institution and study its characteristics, content and forms.Secondly, after analysis on the function of coordinated management institution, it then analyzes influences the coordinated management institution have on the implementation and efficiency of coordinated management. Analysis results show that the realization of the coordinated management depends on the institution, the essence of coordination failure is institution failure, and well-designed coordinated management institution is an important means of improving the efficiency of coordinated and management. From these, it obtains that design a rational coordinated management institution is imperative.Again, it explores tentatively the institution design of coordinated management of construction projects, including the institution of coordinated management of construction target, organization and stakeholder.Finally, based on background of BT project of the Shenzhen Metro Line 5, the paper analyzes its coordinated management institution, points out the remaining issues and puts forward some proposals.
