Study Of Third-party Logistics And Warehousing Management Issues

With the rapid development of economic and the accelerating pace of economic globalization, modern logistics as a sophisticated organization and management technology are receive more and more attention, the attention especially form the government as well as different kinds of enterprises, added a lot of scholars. To meet the growing demands for logistics services, while many companies lack the energy to cope with it, so the third party logistics are arising, a new industry,3PL. It can provide more professional services to meet the different requirements of customers,3PL mainly providing transportation,storage,loading and unloading,handling,packaging,distribution processing,distribution,information processing and other basic services.Warehousing as an important part in logistics, can provide a wide range of service to companies, for instance, third party storage companies can provide storage,loading,consolidation,classification orders,stock inventory,in transit mix,inventory control,transportation arrangement,information,and other specialized requirements of the customers. For not all the third party warehousing companies'internal operation can works smoothly enough, and meet the needs of different customers, This paper set enterprise F as an example to analysis the problems in that warehouse, and seeks the optimal solutions.The thesis is composed of six chapters. The 1st chapter is the significance of this paper, in order to make it clearly enough, then added a framework of this paper. In chapter 2, introduce relevant theories, which mainly refer to the optimization of the cargo space, and related stacking method. In chapter 3, mainly introduce the reason why enterprise F did not make the good use of the spaces. In chapter 4, based on the problems from chapter 3, to make systematic analysis, and collect a large number of relevant data, to classify the datum, and find out the best way to solve the problems. In chapter 5, describes some assurance measure, which can help to solve the problems more effectively, for instance, to strengthening the training of the operators, after that can make them work better. In chapter 6, is a summary of the full paper, and related prospects, analysis of all the method used in the paper, and related results, in the mean time, to provide a better solution, and prospect.
