Currently, the production capacity of nitrogen fertilizer in China is in particular serious excess, while the industry concentration is not high。Nationwide there are more than 1,000 fertilizer production enterprises, among which nitrogenous fertilizer production enterprises are up to nearly 700, compound fertilizer production enterprises 300, and potash fertilizer production enterprises 47. Promoted by the integration of global economy, the fertilizer industry is also facing increasingly fierce competition. Some large foreign enterprises have already invested in China fertilizer plants and begun to deploy their own marketing channels.In the fierce market competition, how can China's chemical fertilizer industry restructure the domestic business and deal with competition from foreign counterparts? Engaged in marketing management in a large state-owned fertilizer company for years, I have realized the industry's tremendous competitive pressure and witnessed tremendous changes of the industry in recent years. Whether manufacturers or traders are looking for innovative marketing channels in the hope of establishing new channels they can control. Rational layout of marketing channels and innovation and development in the fertilizer business have been playing an important role in the competition。How to make full use of internal and external resources, and improve the comprehensive competitiveness by increasing the value of marketing channels and reduce costs? The new competitive situation put forward new requirements for the fertilizer industry especially the circulation.In this article, through the analysis of current development of domestic fertilizer industry, and elaboration of industrial characteristics, combined with theoretical knowledge in marketing, management and other related areas, and the study of marketing channels of Sinofert, Hubei branch, I make analysis of existing problems in the marketing channels, explore some of the measures and put forward some recommendations. I hope to provide some reference for the marketing channels Sinofert Hubei branch, some of the industry enterprises in the same market, and the construction of marketing channels.
