An Empirical Study Between The Corporate Social Responsibility And Financial Performance

During the recent years, with the attention about the corporation and the social connection, discussion and practice of the social behavior has been very famous in and overseas. The concept of the social responsibility has gained more and more attention and the enterprise also realize the importance of the social responsibility. From the point of view of the corporation, the emphases of business has changed, from the stockholders to the people that contains a large range. More corporations are willing to disclose the CSR(Corporation Social Responsibility) report spontaneously in recent circumstances( for instance,Sustainable Developing Report, Environment Report and Social Responsibility Report etc.), and the amount has increased year by year, the Social Responsibility Report has accelerated the development of the corporation in a wide extent.Scan the world widely, corporation social responsibility has gained more attention and support of international organization,the government,social party and overseas corporation. The U.N. has start the"global contract"in due form early in 2000, promote the implementation of social responsibility all over the world. International Standardization Organization start the establishment of the social responsibility global standard in 2004, European Union set up corporation social responsibility minister, promote the implementation of social responsibility of the firm. More social party,investigation institution and multinational corporations also promote the practice of social responsibility in A variety of ways.This article use the empirical research method, study on the influence of the firm's financial performance if it disclose social responsibility report, this article choose the state-owned enterprises as sample data. The research indicates that if the state-owned enterprises disclose the CSR report, they will have a direct positive influence on the current year and the late year, in connection with the practical problems of China's state-owned enterprises, this result can also illustrate to some extent that if these state-owned enterprises want to survive after their reform and have a long-time development, they should consider the demand of their stakeholders. Only the company put the target of the enterprise in a comprehensive way, can they achieve more benefit from their development.
