Facing an increasingly competitive global financial environment, especially after the tremendous impact of 2008 financial crisis, foreign and domestic banks put strengthening their management, improving customer satisfaction on an important strategic position. By implementing the process of Six Sigma for improving the quality of banking services, these banks aim to achieve better survival and development. Under this context, the paper makes a preliminary exploration on the application of the management method of Six Sigma to Chinese banking industry.Banks are the place where service processes are collected. The improvement of the quality of banking services in essence is the improvement of process quality. In the first three chapters, the author starts from the research background of Six Sigma, analyses its theory, lists the errors that exist in the implementation process and explains the importance Six Sigma plays in the banking sector. In the following, based on the application of domestic and foreign banks, the author analyses the advantages of banking industry following Six Sigma's example and points out the deficiencies. The core part of this article is the fourth chapter, viz. the popularization and application of Six Sigma in China's banking industry. In this part, the author introduces Voice of the Customer (VOC) and the idea of process banks and a combination of both. Using Voice of Customer (VOC) to drive the building of process bank in China, the author innovatively proposes the system of construction and implementation based on the process bank of Six Sigma. In the fifth chapter, the author combines the Simulation case of the electric transfer process improvement of a bank following Six Sigma in our country, uses the DMAIC model of Six Sigma and the latest version of MINITAB to analyze data of the project, and makes graphics production and comparative analysis.Finally, the author concludes the electric transfer process defects and improvement as well as the good returns achieved by the bank after the improvement. This case shows that the significant role that the application of Six Sigma plays in reducing costs and avoiding additional pay, enhancing customer satisfaction and shortening the service period in the banking sector in our country.The conclusion is that during the period when the banking industry model faces transfer in China, the use of Six Sigma's scientific process banks is an effective way to reform China's banking sector and it will help Chinese banks improve customer satisfaction, reduce costs, improve service quality and improve capital investment, maximize the value of banks so as to lead Chinese banking industry to excellence and prosperity.
