Improvement Research Of L Company's Assembly Line Base On Six Sigma Process

Currently, six sigma is developed very fast in china, and many famous companies get benefits from the activity of it. So the application of six sigma has extended to all kinds of companies from foreign manufacture companies in 80s or 90s of last century. Many people's opinion with six sigma has changed from it is just one kind of statistics and can help company to improve the process and quality to a system which can help help company to improve management, R&D and operation stratic. Our companies has regonized the advantage and effect since Motorola, GE, and Ford got successful from six sigma in 90s of last century, we introduce the culture and implement it to add our strength, and we get success to improve productivity and quality,decrease the cost and win more marketing share.This paper combine the basic knowledge of six sigma, based on DMAIC model and use the tools of six sigma, set up the improvement process and pay more attention on the discuss of implementing ways. This paper combine the current status of L company, use the DMAIC model and other tools of six sigma to research the assemble line of A product, recorded the operation and implemention of improving process, then got a good result from this project.This paper made up of two parts: firstly I introduced the basic theory of six sigma improvement tools; and then with the real case of L company's assembe line for A product, introdued the detail process of six sigma's application in Chinese manufacture factory, total discuss the application and achievement of six sigma in Chinese manufacture factory.
