Project cost management, which is regarded by the enterprise manager, is the key factor todecide whether the project is successful or not. As the competition in domestic and internationalprojects gets fiercer, the enterprises having a low level of management are subjected to a relativelygreater market and the challenges to their survival and development. Without taking the efficientmanagement approaches as early as possible, the enterprises would not enter the normaldevelopment orbit so that they could be eliminated from the market.What is called project cost refers to all the expense during the period from design tocompletion. Project cost management is to plan, manage and control the expense required by alldifferent processes to ensure the project goal with the approved budget.In the first chapter, a comprehensive introduction of the project cost is given; the secondchapter studies the related content about the project purchasing and purchasing cost. First we givean account of the connotation of the purchasing cost, provide certain measurements which areused to control the project purchasing cost, choose appropriate suppliers and introduce the supplychain by starting from the budget for purchasing, and establish consciousness of purchasing cost;And then we propose the common decision-making of project cost management in purchasing;The third part gives a detailed research on the quality cost management of the equipmentmaintenance. This paper firstly introduces the development of the quality cost, namely the qualitycost from traditional quality cost to zero defect cost to the comprehensive quality cost. The qualitycost management gradually developed and perfected. After summarizing the connotation of thequality cost and analyzing the dialectical unification relation of the quality and cost, we give acertain research on the quality cost model. Finally, we analyze and summarize five controlmeasurements in the quality cost control. The fourth chapter gives a particular study and analysison the schedule cost of the maintenance project. First, we put a common method of the schedulecost control- Network analysis technology, and then summarize the progress of the constructionschedule cost control and analyze the standard of the crashing activity. Finally, we propose thereason of the executing schedule. The fifth part analyzes and studies the project cost controlsystem and its practical model. First, we analyze the benchmark and the deviation of the costcontrol system, summarize the cost rectification measurements, and then give a detailed analysisabout the two models: the cost control practical model-WBS and the earned value model.In the sixth chapter, we give a comprehensive analysis and summarization on the integratedcost management of this scheduled maintenance through the personal practice and fullyparticipating in a Baosteel's series scheduled maintenance. We analyze and count the quality cost, schedule cost, purchasing cost, and so on, and give a detailed analysis and contrast between theplanning input cost and the actual input cost. We describe the specific source of the various costreduction. The data in this paper will provide an important reference for the next series scheduledmaintenance.
