Attracting Fdi And China's Economic Security

Economic globalization is a kind of irreversible trend of the world and the large-scale flow of FDI is an important power to push this progress. As FDI brings enormous changes to the host country, it also has made a great negative impact on economic security of the host country. In recent years, our country opens more and more fields to foreign capital as we fulfill our WTO commitments gradually and the open-reform becomes continuously deeper. We must realize that the foreign capital actually play an important role in the economic development of China, but it also has more and more negative impacts on economic security of our country. We should be prepared for controlling this early and avoid the harmful impacts to the best of our abilities. We must face the challenges which are brought by FDI under the economic globalization in positive attitude so as to maintain and ensure the economic security of our country by utilizing FDI more scientifically and rationally.This article falls into four chapters:Chapter 1 is the introductory part. On the one hand the author gives the personal understanding to national economic security on the basis of different definitions from domestic and foreign scholars, this part sets the theory beginning for the whole article; on the other hand it introduces the aim and the main research content of the article briefly on the basis of the definitions above.Chapter 2 is the part of positive analysis. It analyzes the overall negative impacts of FDI on our economic security. It mainly analyzes the following different aspects: the impacts on national industry, the risks in financial field, the impacts on the development of balance(mainly referring to the industry and the region) and the impacts on national interests.Chapter 3 analyzes the deep reasons why FDI have negative impacts on our national economic security.
