The interest rate liberalization is the important content of our finance reforms, it is also the essential step relates to the national entire market economic system advancement. Since the fist time proposed in 1993, the interest rate liberalization has been propelled steadily in our country, and already enters the most essential stage. But along with the acceleration of interest rate liberalization, our commercial banks which are the most core of finance system faces the changes of market environment, more and more risks, and the threats enlarges.This paper attempts to elaborate how the interest rate liberalization brings Chinese commercial banks more risks, as well as how should we promote risk management level of the commercial banks as soon as possible, The author wants to enhance the domestic commercial banks' understand of risks, and facilitate the development of risk management level of commercial banks as quick as they can do. The paper contains four parts, it starts from the basic concepts and categories of interest rate liberalization and risk management of commercial banks, then comes to the concrete question analysis, finally arrives to the proposes and suggestions, gradually elaborates the risk and its management to our commercial banks during the interest rate liberalization.The first chapter is the meanings of interest rate liberalization, as well its advancement situation in our country, talks about the conception of interest rate liberalization, analyzes necessity and the urgency of interest rate liberalization in our country, introduces its advancement process, and also do a brief forecast.In the second chapter, firstly introduces the concept of bank risk and its general types, and how does it affect the risk conditions of domestic commercial banks.
