With the rapid development of globalized economy and high-tech industry, competition among textile machinery enterprises is becoming fiercer. Acquiring sheer competitive advantage in a market or an industry becomes the first important issue to remain invincible in the competition. Market positioning makes enterprise manage to find out much more competition advantage characteristics than competitors. Thus most important of all is how to choose appropriate target market in order to expand overseas market occupying rate utilizing competitive advantage of Chinese textile machinery nowadays, when technique of textile machinery is changing quickly.The article aimed at analyzing market positioning and advancing feasible marketing strategy for Ring Spinning Frame (RSF) in the India market—the main product of Chinese textile machinery.On the basis of consulting domestic and overseas literature and information, the author integrates marketing knowledge and finds out appropriate target market for the objective product. The article studies on RSF by applying marketing theory, strategy and method, especially target marketing strategy, and analyzing manufacture situation and export datum of RSF. And it puts forward several positioning strategies through analyzing Indian macro-environment, competitors'market position and superiority and inferior position of Chinese RSF in India market. Finally, the author summarized corresponding differentiated marketing strategy for Chinese RSF to export to India market according to years'marketing experience in textile machinery industry.
