The Reasons For The Lack Of Supply Of Trade Support Functions Of The Industry Associations And Countermeasures

At present, many industrial associations have been established to provide service for their members and share some functions of the government. However, undoubtedly, the development of industrial associations is still at a very low level. Especially, as a ingredient of the trade-supporting network, the development of such associations are too weak to provide these supporting functions as organizing enterprises to participating aboard exhibition, answering the suit of antidumping and breaking aboard trade barrier. Therefore, it is of great importance and urgency to analyze the reasons and propose a solution to this problem after our country's entrance of WTO. Based on the background, this paper intended to make a further study on this issue. In this paper, it made an analysis and classification of the factors influencing the function support of industrial associations on the basis of literature search and results of questionnaire, interview and case study. Following this, it studied the game among enterprises and put forward some feasible countermeasures. The main research methods in this paper included theoretical analysis and positivism.This paper consists of five chapters. In chapter one, it briefly introduced the background, the intension, significance and content of the study. Moreover, it made a definition for the term supply referred in this study. In chapter two, it reviewed the relevant research concerning the function and trade-supporting function of industrial associations. And it also systematically summarized industrial associations' developing course, functions, present situation of trade-supporting function, and function in the trade-supporting network. And then, it introduced the theory of game and relevant theories. In chapter three, based on the theory of game and policy analysis, it analyzed the supply motives and influential factors of industrial associations' trade-supporting function. Then, it designed the game framework for the analysis of influential factors on the basis of summarization of former study. In chapter four, it made an analysis on several function supplies of trade support by means of the theory of game. Meanwhile, it also analyzed the understanding, reflection, strategy and results of different units in the game process, including the government, enterprises and industrial associations. As a conclusion, it obtained the main factors which influenced game equilibrium.
