Corporate social responsibility (CSR) has been paid more and more attention in economic globalization. CSR not only has become the focus of academe caring but also gets application in practice. Reinforcing CSR is the need to compete and participate in the international market, and to improve the competence and developing quality. This paper is consisted of CSR, related concepts of CSR and its evaluating system. In the first place, this paper expatiates the basic theory of CSR. It explains the academic foundation of CSR's birth and development based on economics, law and ethics. It also discusses the definition and content of CSR.Then it introduces 3 related concepts which include corporate social responsiveness, corporate social performance and corporate citizenship. And it studies their differences and logistic relationship. That contributes to the understanding of CSR. At last, the author establishes the evaluating system of CSR based on others'research. The system includes the report of CSR and specific evaluating index which is helpful to evaluate corporate social performance. But the writer isn't able to confirm the weightiness of each index because of his limited ability. So it is also needed to make further research.
