The paper Introduces the background and reason to carry on theproject after-evaluation for the hi- and new technology industrializationdemonstration of ZHongzhou's ore dressing Bayer processalumina-production (called as Zhongzhou's Bayer process ) andsystematiclly states the theory and method of the projectafter-evaluation.After investigating its afterevalution in detail accordingto the major content and requirements of the project afterevalution,theindustry construction project afterevalution has been practised.Adopting the way of the after-evaluation such as statistics, forecast,comparison and logic frame, etc.,combining the quantitative analysis as amain method with qualitative analysis, the project "GO"decision,project target, technic program,project execution,project economy,project effect, project success degree and project continuance ofZhongzhou's bayer process are analized.The project economy situationsince afterevaluation time point, especially finance index,is calculated bythe means of the statistic, forecast and finance afterevaluation system.Studying the theory and method of the project afterevaluation, theory isorganically combined with pratice.Concluding experience and lessons in the process of premillary work,project construction and production operation on the base of the overallevaluation of sorts of Zhongzhou Bayer process evaluation results,putting up forward suggestion with our contry's industry constructionproject afterevaluation at present, it points out the essentiality andnecessity of the project afterevaluation.
