| Since YanBian established the first foreign investment corporation in 1984, foreign capital played an important role in the development of economy of YanBian. It is also not only making up for the lack of fund, increasing the fixed assess investment, providing plenty of job opportunities, broadening the trading of imports and exports, but also bringing in practical producing technique and managing experience, accelerating upgrade of industry. And it favorably drives the development of economy. The development of economy in YanBian is benefited from a great many investments from foreign merchants. And the foreign investment has already become an important power to stimulus the development of economy in YanBian area.This thesis is divided into six parts altogether.Part one is introduction. The author introduced the background and significance of this research, and the research contents, structure and method.Part two is theoretical review. The author introduced the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), which provides the theoretical evidence for the research content and analytical structure.Part three is the overview of utilizing foreign investment in YanBian. Starting from history process of utilizing foreign capital and the special environment in this area, the author introduced the status of the development under different policies, and demonstrated the characteristics of utilizing the fund in different stages, then induced the foreign capital played an important role in the development of economy in YanBian area.Part four is the problem of FDI, and the reasons of being so. The author elicited some problems during utilizing the foreign capital, and carried on analysis to the reasons which produced those problems.Part five is the countermeasure and advice on utilizing FDI in YanBian area, the author provided corresponding development strategies for the problems of utilizing FDI in YanBian area.Part six is the conclusion. The conclusion part gives a summary of the whole article. |
