Ampang River Wetland Nature Reserve Tourism Environment Carrying Capacity Analysis And Its Regulation Strategy

With the rapid development of tourism industry, a series of environment and societyproblems appear in every travel sites for overloading of tourists. To ensure sustainabledevelopment of tourist trade, it is very necessary to research economic behavior of tourism,which effects on travel environment from all aspects. Tourism environmental bearing capacity(TEBC) is a just concept which describes the ability of a travel environment system to bear thetourism activities. TEBC is an important index to measure the sustainable developmentcapacity of tourism, and its value of application rest with protecting natural and socio-economic environment from innocent destroy; meanwhile, it can also insure the quality ofexperience of tourists during traveling. Based on all above, it is of great theoretic and practicalsignificance to develop the research on both the theory of TEBC and the quantitative methods.WT is not only a tourism activity bases on wetland resources, but also it is a pattern oftourism exploitation founds on strongly ecological protection consciousness on wetland.Depending on the analysis of tourism environmental bearing capacity in Anbang River wetlandNature Reserve, some references standard will be listed for the sustainable development ofwetland tourism.In the first place, comprehensive review about existing research condition on this subjectis given from domestic to abroad respectively. The relationship between tourism environmentalbearing capacity and tourism is pointed out; meanwhile, the existing problems and shortagescurrently are listed. More introductions on the concept of TEBC and every parts of it are alsodescribed in detail.In the second place, based on the comprehensive analysis of region features, wetlandexploitation state and tourism environment system of AnBang River wetland natural reverse,the index system of TECC in this region is established, which is composed of three parts, i.e.resource carrying capacity, society carrying capacity and economy carrying capacity. Certaincalculation model and formula are practiced to calculate TEBC qualitatively and quantitativelyon the base of the analysis of whether the relationship between supply and demand is inbalance.In the end, recurring to the analysis of both the above calculation result and the analysismodels of TEBC in different space-time differential characteristic, evaluation results are given,i.e. insufficient carrying, sufficient carrying, overload carrying. The research on TEBC inAnBang River wetland nature reserve can not only provide an objective basis on both of short-term protection and long-term programming of wetland nature reserve, but also establish thetheoretical foundation for tourism management and sustainable development of tourism. It willbe effective in directing the programming and management of tourism, and will also be avaluable reference for future wetland tourism.
