Finance Lease Application To Study In China

Financial leasing is a new financial method produced in the United States after World War II. It is called the "21st century sun raising industry". Since the 1950s, the cycling rapid of capital equipment replacement was reduced greatly because modern science and technology developed faster. At the same time, financial leasing got fast development by virtue of its accelerated depreciation, transformation of enterprises, and improved the competitiveness of products. In 1982, financial leasing was produced in China. After that, the first Sino-foreign joint venture leasing company and the first home-leasing company were successively established in the late 1980s. It was 10 years earlier than the establishment of Stock Market and stock companies. Since then, financial leasing got to develop as a new form of financing in China. As a window for attracting foreign investment, China's financial leasing had a rapid development in the previous 10 years. According to statistics, China attracted foreign investment totally about 70 billion dollars in the way of financial leasing in the last 20 years, while leasing operations reached a total of 190 billion Yuan. There was no doubt that financial leasing played a facilitating role on economic growth. However, after 20 years of development, financial leasing is at a low ebb. According to statistics from "World Leasing Report", in 2003 the total global leasing was 261.6 billion US dollars, while China's was only 2.2 billion US dollars.Well, whether it is necessary and possible for financial leasing to develop in China? What are the problems in the current leasing in China? And how to solve all these problems? These are the logic leads of this thesis. The author hopes to provide some useful recommendations for the development of financial leasing in China.The thesis is divided into five parts altogether.The first part, introduction. Introduce the background of this thesis, construct the writing ideas and point out the researching signification on the basis of reviewing domestic and international literatures.The second part is the basis part of the whole thesis. Make it is clear about what the definition of financial leasing is. Produce the four characteristic of financial leasing.The third part describes the strong need for the financial leasing in China and also the feasibility. This is a part of Analysis and Countermeasures logical starting point, only that it is necessary and feasible under the circumstances, the next study would be meaningful.The fourth part describes the status of financial leasing in China, and analysis the major problems which constraint of its development through statistics, comparison and analysis.The fifth part provides several methods to solve the problems, like financial leasing product innovation, finance leasing main rectification, and the improvement of the macroeconomic environment.
