Equipment management is a comprehensive course integrated the knowledge of project engineering, management, finance and other practical method. With the continual introduction of equipment and materials management of foreign companies to China, and with the active exploring of domestic management experts, more and more companies realize the importance of equipment and materials management. Though, after the establishment of PRC, there are various kinds of theories and methods of management widely applied to the industrial companies and form the present comparatively mature management practice and methods, these theories and methods are not very suitable for the large construction companies. First they are mainly for manufacturing companies with fixing site, which are not very proper for construction companies with special production method and environment. Secondly, the management theories are focusing on researching for basic and micro management. There is no effective management mode formed for large-size companies, especially for Construction Corporation. Though some of the Chinese group companies start to control the equipment and materials of subsidiaries through the group company, it is not systematical and mature. It is necessary to have a special research on equipment and materials management of construction Group Company.Through study of the foreign equipment and materials management theories, the research and application of said management theories in the process of industrialization of China, the analysis of the difference of said methods applying to traditional manufacturing companies and construction companies, the application of said theories to construction group company, this article mainly focusing on study of how to applying the said methods to all levels of the construction group company and figure out the responsibility, right and interest among various levels of the construction group company. Therefore, this article is footing on the study of organization chart, business characteristics of large construction Group Company to analyze the organization chart, management process, management system of equipment and materials management mode under construction Group Company. Finally this article presents the concept of centralizing the equipment and materials management of our company and the relevant management mode to realize the standardization of management of the group company to reach the maximum benefit.
