With the economic globalization, financial liberalization and the rapid reform of economic marketization of China, bank business will meet challenge and developing opportunity that never had before. Several large- scale state-owned corporations of our country have accomplished joint-stock system reform in succession, and improved corporation management structure of modern commercial bank step by step. Meanwhile, with the control rights of commercial bank were open gradually to the outside world and the entering and competition of overseas banks, China Commercial Bank will confront great risk increasingly. Although great achievement has been acquired in financial system reform and bank system reform, a great number of problems still exist in commercial bank, such as, economic system transformation and the lacking of adaptation in the early stage of entering into WTO, which further increase the risk of the bank. For this, we must pay high attention to this situation, and adopt practical and useful bank risk prevention measures.This article combines the current developing situation that the joint-stock system reform of China Commercial Bank has been finished, studies on commercial bank risk management in many ways, and makes a primary research on the current risk management pattern of China Commercial Bank on the basis of the analysis on the cause of commercial bank risk and the studies on risk management quantification theory. According to the current specific manifestation and characteristics of risk of China Commercial Bank and the disadvantages of risk management, this article also puts forward two specific measures on constructing an overall risk management system with Chinese characteristics and developing an operation of assets securitizations on the basis of drawing the experience of foreign advanced banks on risk prevention and the practice of supervision.
