Integration Of Research, Based On Cobit And It Bsc It-business Strategy

Under the promotion of external macro-policy direction and dizzying development of information technology (IT), IT plays a more and more important role in the survival and development of the enterprises. With the ceaseless improvement of IT, its wider application in enterprises, and the increasingly impelling of the process of informatization, IT has been increasingly dependable and essential for enterprises. To realize the long-term goal of sustainable development, enterprises not only have to choose a business strategy to obtain the superior competitiveness, but also they need to choose an IT strategy to win the technology advantages, and the coordination of these two kinds of strategies has been more and more significant. At present, many scholars and the organizations abroad are doing research in the strategical integration of IT and business process, however, there is still little research in our country. Even though some scholars have studied in these fields, most of them were based on the theoretical model of foreign scholars, and they are hard to operate, measure and apply. In this paper, based on the former research results, utilizing the popular IT control structure—COBIT and IT BSC, we proposed a practical, valuable, easy-to-operate IT-Business process strategical integration model, which includes integration and control, measurement and evaluation. We also analyzed how the enterprises integrate the business strategy with the IT strategy, to obtain the competitiveness. In the end, we gave an case study on certain science and technology information graduation school, and made a detailed explanation on how the organization should use this model to built internal IT-Business strategy integration structure.As the conclusion of this paper, constitute IT strategy should consider the business strategy and the requirements of development of the whole enterprise, integrate the IT-business strategies should assure the combination of integration and governance, and integrate the IT-business should assure the maneuverability and appraisability of the the integration. It is reasonable and perfect to integrate the COBIT with IT BSC to build an IT-Business strategy integration model, not only because we can control the IT in enterprises, but also we can make an evaluation of the IT performance, so that it is a perfect combination of integration, control, measurement and evaluation.
